Question
How many courses do I need to complete so I earn my certificate?
Answer
You are able to check your progress towards earning your certificate at any time. Log onto our student portal, and do the following:
  • Click "Certificates" at left. Mobile users, click the User-added imageicon, then click "Student Menu" to see the Certificates link.

  • Click the title of the certificate you're working towards. Mobile users may need to scroll to see complete listing.

  • You will see the details of your certificates, with all required courses, listed. Pay close attention to the numbers listed by "Required for Stream" and "Completed" - this is the number of courses required for the certificate ("required for stream"), and the number of courses that you have successfully completed so far. (If this Completed total does not match the number of Status = Completed courses in the next section, one or more courses did not meet course requirements to achieve 100%. To verify which ones are incomplete, from the left hand navigation in your Student Portal, click "Enrollment History" - in "Previous Courses" note those with Final Grade of "Incomplete", then contact the helpdesk for assistance.)

  • In the "Status" column, courses that have been registered, and online access has ended will show as "Completed" with the end date of the course. If the course is still in progress, or, has been registered for but not yet started, it will show as "Incomplete." If nothing is listed in the Status column, you have not yet registered/selected a start date for that course.
